Attorney

Samantha B. Copelan

In Samantha’s professional career, she assisted in the creation of the Lee County Drug Court (2012-2013), Contract Defense Attorney in the Lee County Circuit Court(2013-2014), Defense Attorney for Lee County Child Support Court (2011-2012), and Auburn City Prosecutor(2015-2021).

Samantha is actively involved in the community serving on boards such as President of Lee County Bar Association(2013), assisted in creation of Opelika Happy Hour Rotary Club (2014), Opelika Rotarian (2014-current), Alabama Pro Bono Task Force (2013-2015), BigHouse Board member (2019-current), and Auburn Chamber of Commerce Board member (2022-current).

Samantha is a graduate of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lee County Class of 2013 and Opelika Chamber of Commerce 20 Under 40 Class of 2013. She was also designated as a SuperLawyer in 2020.
